Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire an experienced AR Accountant Team Lead. This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounts receivable expertise, leadership experience, and a track record of improving processes and supporting high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the accounts receivable team, including workflow oversight, training, and performance management
Review AR aging, monitor outstanding balances, and help drive collection efforts
Oversee billing, invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliation activities
Assist with month-end and year-end close related to accounts receivable
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
Partner with finance, customer service, and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues
Prepare AR reports, analyze trends, and provide updates to management
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen reporting accuracy
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests

Previous experience as a AR Accountant Team Lead or similar role
Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally




Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
