Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities remain spotless, safe, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive and hygienic setting for everyone at Casa Dee Montessori.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance needs or hazards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely




- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor issues when needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Report any significant maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly

Requirements

- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
