Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our team building specialized electric height-adjustable furniture consoles for the Public Safety industry. This hands-on role involves assembling and fitting metal furniture components, hardware and related parts using a variety of hand and power tools. Candidates with experience in furniture or cabinet assembly, cabinetry, metal assembly, or similar production environments are encouraged to apply. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work efficiently are important to success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Assemble furniture consoles, cabinetry, hardware and small components to complete customer orders.
- Read and follow assembly instructions, drawings and specifications as required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to assemble and fit components.
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure they meet company standards.
- Wrap and prepare finished consoles and cabinetry for shipment and pack related components and small parts.
- Assist with loading and unloading raw materials, finished products and shipments as required.
- Assist with organizing parts and materials and completing periodic inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements





- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production workplace; furniture assembly, cabinetry, cabinetmaking, millwork, metal assembly or related experience is preferred.
- Comfortable and proficient using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Organized, dependable and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to safely lift and handle individual components weighing up to 50 lbs and participate in team lifts for larger products.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Forklift certification is an asset; willingness to obtain certification if required.
- Willingness to obtain First Aid certification.
- Valid G driver's license.
- Valid passport, or ability to obtain one, is preferred.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
