Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Transportation Recruiter to manage high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for our Ontario and Quebec Terminals.

Reporting directly to our National Recruiter. The position will be responsible for recruiting drivers, dock personnel, mechanics, shunters, and other clerical roles while partnering with Terminal Managers to discuss staffing needs. This role requires a proactive recruiter with transportation industry experience, strong sourcing skills, and the ability to manage multiple vacancies across a fast-paced, multi-location setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job posting and sourcing through screening and setting interviews with Terminal Managers, and onboarding the successful candidates.
- Recruit for Classe 1/AZ drivers, city and highway drivers, dock personnel, mechanics, shunters, and other clerical roles.
- Complete criminal background checks, employment reference checks and schedule drug & alcohol testing for potential candidates.
- Develop candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, networking, direct sourcing, and headhunting.
- Partner with terminal managers to understand staffing requirements, prioritize vacancies, and coordinate interviews and assessments.
- Provide recruitment support in both English and French.
- Provide daily and weekly updates to the National Recruiter.




- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity in the spreadsheets.
- Track hiring progress, time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and other recruitment metrics.
- Support initiatives that improve hiring efficiency, reduce staffing shortages, and limit agency reliance.

Qualifications and Experience

- 1-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in transportation, trucking, logistics, or supply chain.
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Human Resource Management
- Experience recruiting drivers, mechanics, dock workers, or other blue-collar roles.
- Fluency in English and French. (Required)
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment across multiple locations in the Eastern Canada.
- Strong sourcing, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Posting ads on Career websites and other job platforms.
- Good knowledge of generating Excel and Google spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
