Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented RV Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and sales of RV parts and accessories, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and quality products. Your leadership will drive efficiency in supply chain operations, foster solid vendor relationships, and maintain a well-organized parts inventory that supports our dealership’s growth. Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the RV parts department, including inventory control, order processing, and sales activities.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source high-quality parts efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize IDS to track inventory levels, process data entry accurately, and generate reports for demand planning.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, strengthening supply chain partnerships.
- Oversee the sourcing of hard-to-find or specialized RV parts through various channels, including manufacturing contacts and aftermarket suppliers.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of RV systems to assist customers with technical questions and ensure proper parts identification.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of parts using equipment such as forklifts and adhere to safety protocols.
- Support customer service efforts by providing expert advice on parts selection, availability,



and installation guidance.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing or repair teams on demand planning for replacement parts needed for ongoing service jobs.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in dealership or automotive parts management, preferably within the RV industry or related fields.
- Strong data entry skills with experience using IDS or similar software for inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability in purchasing, sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on technical support and problem resolution.
- Mechanical knowledge of RV systems, HVAC units, or manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and demand planning processes.
- Experience working with procurement procedures within manufacturing or dealership environments is a plus.
