Niche Lounge is looking for a talented, motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team!

Niche isn’t your typical restaurant. We’re a busy downtown Halifax lounge and sports destination with everything from packed game days and private parties to corporate events and busy weekend nights. No two shifts are exactly the same.
THE ROLE
As our Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and play a major role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Help lead and motivate the kitchen team
- Keep service running smoothly during busy shifts
- Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation
- Assist with prep, ordering, inventory and kitchen organization
- Help train and develop kitchen staff
- Bring ideas and creativity to the table
- Jump in wherever needed — we’re a team
