Design Engineer / Technologist – Tillage

We are looking for a Design Engineer or Technologist to join our Tillage Design team. This position is responsible for developing and improving tillage equipment designs using Autodesk Inventor.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop and refine designs for tillage equipment and components.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and other departments to ensure designs are practical and meet production requirements.
- Review designs and make improvements for performance, durability, manufacturability and cost.
- Support prototype development, testing and design changes.
- Maintain accurate engineering drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

- Engineering degree or Engineering Technologist diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous mechanical design experience.




- Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Agricultural equipment or tillage experience is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple ongoing projects
- Knowledge of computers and software (AS400, Microsoft Office®, AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Occasional work in the manufacturing shop to support prototype builds and product development
- Occasional visits to farms and other test sites
