The Tooth Corner is looking for a friendly, motivated, and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team in Dundas, Ontario!

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our dental team and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. You will work closely with dentists and other team members to provide quality patient care while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories in accordance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs as required and in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Support patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout dental appointments.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow all infection prevention and control guidelines and workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies and report inventory needs.
- Assist with operatory turnover and ensure treatment areas are clean and organized.




- Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, receptionists, and other team members.
- Help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the clinic.

Qualifications

- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset.
- Dental assisting education and relevant certifications are preferred.
- Level II Dental Assistant certification is an asset.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures and dental office protocols.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture.
