Job Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut metal sheets and plates according to drawings and specifications.
- Read blueprints, work orders and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
- Load materials onto the machine and select the appropriate cutting programs.
- Adjust laser power, cutting speed and other machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
- Monitor cutting operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances.
- Remove finished parts, identify defects and deburr edges as required.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, clean equipment and report mechanical issues.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements: Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment or related training; ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
