Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Drywall Estimator with 5+ years experience to join our construction team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career in construction estimating and project management. The ideal candidate will support the estimating team by preparing accurate project bids, analyzing costs, and assisting with project planning to ensure successful project execution. A strong foundation in construction principles and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Duties

- Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed drywall and construction estimates using industry-standard software such as Planswift.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and material requirements.
- Gather and analyze pricing data from suppliers and subcontractors to develop competitive bids.
- Support negotiation processes with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.




- Prepare comprehensive bid packages including pricing, scope of work, and assumptions.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation for future reference.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools within the team.

Skills

- Proficiency with Planswift software is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project management concepts within the construction industry.
- Robust negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and pricing data accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
