Opportunity

As Project Manager, you’ll lead commercial and civil projects of all sizes, from early planning through to completion. You’ll make sure every job is delivered safely, on schedule, on budget and to the company's quality standards, while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and your own team.

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage multiple commercial and civil construction projects from start to finish
- Review and analyze contracts to manage risk and protect company’s interests
- Visit sites regularly to check progress, solve problems and make sure safety protocols are followed
- Keep projects on schedule, on budget and to quality standards
- Work with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues and keep the work moving
- Spot project risks early and put plans in place to deal with them
- Manage project budgets, including tracking costs, finding savings and protecting profitability
- Work with the finance team to review financial reports and support sound decisions
- Lead project teams, including project coordinators and superintendents
- Keep an eye on team capacity and workload so every project is well supported
- Mentor and support your team to build a collaborative,

Experience and Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or a technology diploma (Architectural or Civil), is preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- A thorough understanding of construction processes, codes and regulations.
- A proven track record in business development and estimating.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as required.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
