The Production Associate is responsible for maintaining excellence on the production line. This position requires knowledge of manufacturing lines and packaging processes. You will be responsible for working on a production line team to meet daily objectives while ensuring quality and safety.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Manually packing cases with completed product and moving sealed cases from conveyors to pallets
- Staying focused on quality of completed products, looking for non-conformance and defects. Reworking non-confirming product.
- Feeding packaging components into production equipment for processing
- Operating packaging equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Staying in tune with the production process to ensure line runs continuously and advise the line production technician of issues
- Ensuring health & safety policies and procedures are being followed
- Reporting equipment malfunctions and quality deviations to management
- Accurately completing written documentation as required
- Maintaining housekeeping standards. This includes cleaning of all equipment used and floor area
- Completing packaging tasks off the line
- Any other tasks as required
- Working overtime as business needs require

Your previous experience:

- You have worked and gained knowledge of line manufacturing and packaging processes
- You have packaging experience with fillers, cappers, labelers and coders
