About the Position

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects on schedule.
- Be reliable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

- Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician License.
- Journeyman Electrician: 5 years preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Must have a Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the shop.
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling based on project and business needs. Work-life balance: Weekday schedule with no regular weekend shifts required.

Overtime: may be required occasionally, with additional compensation in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act requirements.

Company Vehicles Provided: Company vehicle provided daily from shop location for travel to and from job sites.

Paid Travel Time: Travel time between the shop and to and from service locations is paid.

Training & Professional Development: Company-paid training, ongoing skill development and career advancement.

Pay: $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
