The General Ledger

Accountant position is a key support to the Financial Management team, ensuring that delegated month and year end accounting functions are completed accurately and within established timelines. The incumbent also performs the day-to-day accounting functions as delegated. Daily/monthly banking functions oBalance sheet reconciliations including all standard entries oRevenue reconciliations including maintenance/reconciliation of revenue accruals oExpense reconciliations including maintenance/reconciliation of expense accruals Assisting with auditor information requests with annual, internal,



and external audits Batch review of payable/receivable transactions Liaise with and provide support to accounts payable/accounts receivable teams as required Provide information support and data analysis as requested by Financial and DepartmentalManagement Full Time - Monday to Friday Overtime may be required to meet operational timelines for month end, year end and various projects Enrollment in the CPA program at an intermediate level is an asset Experience with fixed asset, inventory accounting, and Excellent Plains Accounting system is an asset A minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Ledger Accountant Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with full cycle accounting, up to and including balance sheet and incomestatement reviews Demonstrated ability in identifying and implementing continuous improvement
