Accountant – Multi-Location Medical Aesthetics Spa

Sol Skin Esthetics Spa is a growing medical aesthetics business operating multiple clinic locations across Ontario. We provide a wide range of medical aesthetics and wellness services, including injectables, laser treatments, advanced skin rejuvenation, and other non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal financial controls across our clinic locations.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with accounting software and point-of-sale systems.

Duties

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Revenue Reconciliation & POS Controls

Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements by clinic location.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial closing.
- Prepare revenue, expense, and profitability reports for management.
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor operating expenses and financial performance across locations.
- Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting.

HST & Regulatory Compliance

- Prepare HST reconciliations and assist with GST/HST filings.
- Ensure proper tax treatment of aesthetic services, retail products, memberships, and other transactions.
- Assist with year-end financial reporting and external accountant requests.




- Maintain organized accounting documentation and audit trails.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Reconcile inventory purchases, transfers, and adjustments across clinic locations.
- Monitor product usage, inventory costs, and discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory valuation and cost-of-goods-sold reporting.
- Review vendor invoices and ensure accurate expense allocation by location

Skills

Required:

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
- Knowledge of Canadian GST/HST requirements.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities across multiple business locations.

Preferred:

- Experience with Zenoti or a similar POS/spa management system.
- Experience in medical aesthetics, healthcare, wellness, hospitality, or multi-location retail businesses.
- Knowledge of prepaid packages, memberships, gift cards, and deferred revenue accounting.
- Experience with payroll and commission reconciliations.
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification is an asset

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
