Take your paramedic skills to the Yukon with 24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions. As a Canadian Certified Advanced Care Paramedic, you will deliver vital emergency support in a remote mining environment.
In this remote role, you will work three weeks on and three weeks off, providing medical care to injured or ill workers at a mining site. Supported by a team of ER physicians, you will ensure high-quality medical assistance with 24/7 access to emergency consultations. Prior experience in occupational medicine is beneficial for success in this challenging setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to workers in need
- Make informed transport decisions within your scope
- Collaborate with the on-site medical team daily
- Ensure patient safety and care quality
- Adhere to approved medical directives and protocols
Requirements:
- Current Canadian Advanced Care Paramedic licence
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in remote occupational medicine (preferred)
- Commitment to continual career development
