ABOUT THE ROLE

Approval Express Canada is hiring an Automotive Finance Assistant for our downtown Vancouver office. This is an entry-level opportunity with full paid training. No finance or automotive experience is required.

We help Canadians facing credit challenges secure vehicle financing. Our sales representatives work with the customer, while you help move their application through the lending process.

You’ll learn how to review financial information, match applications to suitable lenders, resolve outstanding requirements and keep files moving. When an application is declined, you’ll help understand why and identify the next appropriate step.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Preparing, reviewing and submitting customer finance applications to our lender network.
- Matching applications to suitable lenders based on credit history, income, vehicle details and lender guidelines.
- Checking documents for accuracy and completeness, helping verify income and flagging information that doesn’t line up.
- Following up with lender representatives on decisions, outstanding documents and approval conditions.
- Reviewing declined applications and identifying next steps, with guidance from the team as you learn.
- Keeping our deal pipeline accurate so each file shows its current status, outstanding requirements and next action.
- Answering finance-related questions from the sales team and keeping them informed as applications progress.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR You don’t need to arrive knowing how auto finance works. We’re looking for someone curious, careful and willing to learn.

People who do well in this role start recognizing patterns: why an application fits one lender better than another, what information is missing and what needs to happen next.

No post-secondary education is required. Experience in banking, insurance, accounting, administration or collections is an asset, but it isn’t necessary.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
