Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics, electrical testing tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs and assembly tasks effectively.
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, welding, and maintenance procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.




- Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems on various machinery.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients or team members as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership experience preferred.
- Robust mechanical knowledge across automotive systems as well as heavy industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and power tools operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while working with various hand tools and power tools during repairs or assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems related to vehicle or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
- Customer service skills that foster trust and clear communication with clients or colleagues.
