Responsibilities
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under supervision
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and assembly work on various vehicle components
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues and support repair processes
- Conduct welding and mechanical tasks to repair or modify vehicle parts as needed
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance activities
- Support the team in inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain organized work areas and document repair procedures accurately for each vehicle serviced
Experience
- Dealership or automotive repair shop experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with automotive systems is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair tasks
- Prior experience in automotive repair or mechanic roles will be advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
