Hillcrest Service Ltd. is looking for a skilled, fully licensed Automotive Technician to join our team in New Hamburg. We are proud of the work we do, and just as proud of the people who do it.

About the Position

As a fully licensed Automotive Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles. You will work closely with the service team to identify concerns, explain findings, and complete quality repairs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.

· Perform maintenance and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, tires, engines, and other vehicle systems.

· Use diagnostic tools, service information, and manufacturer procedures to identify and resolve concerns.

· Document inspection results, work completed, and any recommended repairs accurately.

· Communicate repair findings and parts needs clearly with the service team.

· Verify completed work and road-test vehicles when appropriate.

· Maintain a clean, organized work area and use shop tools and equipment safely.

· Work cooperatively with an experienced team and contribute to a respectful, positive shop environment.

What We Are Looking For





· A valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Automotive Service Technician (310S).

· Experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a range of passenger vehicles and light trucks.

· Strong mechanical knowledge, sound diagnostic skills, and practical problem-solving ability.

· A commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and doing the job properly.

· The ability to work independently while communicating and collaborating with the team.

· A dependable, professional approach and a valid Ontario driver’s licence.

· Someone who takes pride in their trade and wants to be part of a stable, supportive workplace.
