Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of banquet meals according to menu specifications and event requirements
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Ensure timely delivery of dishes during banquet events, coordinating with serving staff for seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and storage spaces
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing




- Support the team in meal presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal

Experience

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with serving large groups and managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Background in the food industry with a focus on banquet or event catering preferred
- Strong skills in meal preparation, kitchen operations, and food industry best practices
- Previous food service experience demonstrating efficiency in high-volume settings is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
