Job Summary

This after-supper club and lounge, located in the heart of Toronto's King West, will feature music, cocktails, dancing, and table service complemented by a rustic design tone reminiscent of Mediterranean warmth and a vintage Moroccan feel.

Join our vibrant team as a Barback/Support (FOH) and become a vital part of creating an exceptional guest experience! In this energetic role, you will support our bottle service and front-of-house staff by ensuring sections are well-stocked, clean, and ready to serve. Success in this role takes a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a genuine commitment to technical service—all paired with an outgoing, engaging personality.

Duties

- Restock supplies, glassware, and utensils quickly and efficiently to keep the tables fully prepared for service.
- Act as an efficient liaison between guests, bartenders, servers, and security to ensure all drink requests, service needs, and door or section updates are handled seamlessly.
- Assist server teams with presentation props, signage, and sparkler/bottle show elements to elevate the guest experience.
- Uphold strict venue cleanliness standards by clearing empty glassware, wiping down surfaces, and managing waste disposal throughout the night.
- Maintain high service momentum by promptly restocking glassware, ice, garnishes, and drinks at tables to support peak night flow.
- Help with guest services by responding promptly to guest needs and maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude.

Skills

- Previous service experience in bars, restaurants, or hospitality settings is highly preferred and can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.




- Excellent cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the bar support station.

Requirements

- Smart Serve Certification required (or willing to obtain prior to start date).
- Must have strong weekend and late-night availability.
- Ability to consistently work late-night nightlife hours in a high-energy workplace. (Thursday through Saturday, plus long weekend Sundays).

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
