Bilingual Copywriter (French)

Fully Remote

Starts: Early November

Duration: 6+ months, approx 40 hrs/week.

Rate: $55/hr (T4 only)

Our client is seeking a bilingual Copywriter based in Ontario or Quebec to create and adapt e-commerce, packaging, and marketing content in both English and Canadian French. This role requires a strong understanding of the Quebec market and the ability to localize content creatively rather than translate it directly.

- Must be available during Central Time business hours.
- Portfolio presentation required as part of the interview process.
- Limited travel to the US may be required for an initial kickoff meeting.

Responsibilities:
- Write and adapt content for e-commerce platforms, packaging, websites, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional materials.
- Localize U.S. content for Quebec audiences while maintaining brand voice and messaging.




- Collaborate with creative and design teams to ensure content fits layouts and campaign objectives.
- Optimize content for SEO, digital, and social media best practices.
- Proofread and edit content in both English and French for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Occasionally support paid social and advertising copy.

Skills & Experience:
- Fluency in Canadian French and English.
- 3+ years of qualified writing experience.
- Experience with digital content, e-commerce copywriting, and content localization.
- Agency or marketing environment experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, proofreading, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; Journalism, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
