Overview

Join our energetic manufacturing team as a Brake Press Operator and become a vital contributor to precision metal fabrication!

Duties

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and measurement tools such as calipers to ensure precise fabrication

- Adjust machine settings, including tonnage, bend angles, and tooling configurations for optimal performance

- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using hand tools and measurement devices to verify accuracy and adherence to standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes when required,



supporting overall production goals

- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure reliable operation and longevity

Skills

- Proficiency in operating press brake machines along with familiarity with CNC programming for automated bending tasks

- Experience with CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, and other machining processes is highly desirable
- experience in Amada
- brake press preferred, 5+ yr experience, must know setup and programming
- of machine and bend allowance calculation.

Pay: $19.32-$30.86 per hour
