We are seeking an energetic and attentive Breakfast Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during breakfast hours, delivering exceptional service that sets the tone for their entire dining experience. Your enthusiasm, efficiency, and attention to detail will ensure our guests enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious breakfast offerings.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude and assist them with seating arrangements or menu inquiries
- Take breakfast orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table setups and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service for all guests

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, specifically in breakfast or extremley fast passed food service industry
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently




- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to deliver guest services that exceed expectations

Working Conditions
- 7am-3pm operation hours
- Weekends, as needed
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Duties





- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling breakfast specials and beverages to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and assisting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Provide attentive guest services by checking on diners regularly, addressing special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously during busy breakfast hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic team environment
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
