Duties

- Set up and maintain buffet stations, ensuring all food items are attractively displayed and replenished promptly to meet guest demand
- Monitor food quality and safety standards, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, garnishing, and portioning to ensure a consistent presentation
- Keep buffet areas clean and organized by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Provide friendly and efficient guest service by answering questions about menu items and assisting with food selections
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing and ensure smooth operation of the buffet service




- Handle cash register transactions using POS systems like Toast POS or similar platforms when applicable
- Support overall restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and ensuring compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Ability to be available between 6am-1130am any day of the week
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as food preparation, cooking, or meal assembly is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS or cashiering procedures is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in buffet setup and maintenance
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction
- Previous hotel or barista experience can be beneficial but is not required
