We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our agile restaurant team.

The Food

Runner plays a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties

- Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers by refilling drinks and clearing plates as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils and condiments
- Support kitchen staff with food handling and basic cleaning tasks to uphold health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service




- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service throughout their dining experience
- Help with setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after shifts as required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and basic cleaning practices
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely
- Kitchen experience or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with the food industry, serving protocols, and hospitality standards is advantageous
