We offer Mandarin, Cantonese, French, and English programs for children ages 3–14, with a strong focus on communication, literacy, and confidence-building.

Position: Cantonese Teacher

Location: Richmond, BC

Start Date: As soon as possible ob Type: Part-time

Work Location: In person

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Cantonese teacher to join our growing team, particularly to support our expanding preschool and early elementary programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Cantonese classes to children ages 3–14 (with emphasis on preschool levels)
- Develop and adapt engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Foster a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Support early literacy development (speaking, listening, pre-reading, and writing skills in Cantonese)
- Encourage conversational confidence and pronunciation accuracy
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Teach independently and manage classes confidently

Qualifications & Requirements




- Bachelor’s Degree (Education or related field preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred
- Strong Cantonese and English oral and written proficiency
- Ability to read and write Traditional Chinese
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to design curriculum and differentiate instruction
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Passionate about teaching and able to inspire and motivate young learners
