We are actively recruiting for 3-4 Personal Support Workers to assist a private male employer who has Functional Neurological Disorder with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be gentle when providing care due to pain sensitivity.

Start date: November 16, 2026

Location:

- Nanaimo, BC (Near Nanaimo North Town Centre)

Shifts and Hours:

- Monday to Friday and Saturday/Sunday
- 9:00 am to 11:00 am
- Monday to Friday and Saturday/Sunday
- 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
- Wednesdays
- 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
- Monday to Friday and Saturday/Sunday
- 9:15 pm to 10:15 pm

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Morning duties:
- Showering, oral care (brushing teeth, flossing, mouthwash) and dressing
- Assist with medication
- Assist with exercise (Non-evasive)
- Assisted feeding for breakfast
- Light housekeeping such as cleaning, making the bed and taking out garbage and laundry
- Lunch Duties:




- Meal prep for lunch and assisted feeding
- Oral care (Flossing)
- Assist with exercise
- Make the bed
- Dinner time duties:
- Meal prep dinner and assisted feeding
- Oral care (Flossing)
- Male the bed
- Assist with exercise
- Bedtime duties:
- Oral care (Brushing teeth and mouth wash)
- Light housekeeping such as laundry, sweep and mop floors
- Assist with exercise

Required:

- Must be gentle with all care due to pain sensitivity

Pay: $28.00 per hour
