Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Stocker to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining organized merchandise displays. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are a plus, helping to serve our diverse customer base effectively.

Duties

- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases through effective communication and upselling techniques
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed and labeled
- Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of low supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction




- Assist with merchandising efforts to promote featured products and sales campaigns
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy and security

Requirements

- Must be 18 years old or more to work.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Previous experience is an asset or training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual skills or experience in technical sales, product demos, or upselling are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to a rapid-paced retail setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
