We are seeking a motivated and energetic Casual Cook specializing in Indian food, combined with reliable Housekeeping skills, to join our dynamic team. This dual role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. As a Casual Cook and Housekeeper, you will prepare authentic Indian dishes, ensure food safety standards are met, and keep the premises tidy and organized.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring high-quality food presentation and flavor.
- Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards during all stages of food handling and cooking.
- Serve meals to guests or team members in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring excellent food service experience.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized after each shift, including washing dishes and disposing of waste properly.




- Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and ensuring the environment is tidy and welcoming.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when stock needs replenishing.

Experience

- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian cuisine, including traditional recipes and cooking techniques, is highly desirable.
- Experience in food handling, safety procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a kitchen setting.
- Background in hospitality or housekeeping roles demonstrating attention to detail and reliability.
- Knowledge of serving practices to ensure guests receive prompt and friendly service.
