Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, and residential properties ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.

This position is a casual position that may lead to part-time hours.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning of residential, commercial and industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Utilize hand tools and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks
- Reporting issues or repairs to management
- Completing cleaning checklists and inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any concerns

Skills

- Proven experience in residential cleaning,



custodial work or commercial cleaning preferred
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas
