We are currently seeking a construction worker to work with our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience on construction sites and working around equipment. Our projects range from small and large scale infrastructure projects which take employees all over Vancouver Island and the surrounding areas. Typical projects include: water treament plants, pump stations, pipelines, civil excavations, municipal infrastructure projects and more.

Responsibilities

- Installing precast concrete manholes
- Earthmoving and excavations
- Construction activities like forming and placing concrete
- Installation of sewer, water and storm lines
- Ensure that all work is completed safely

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction




- General understanding excavation and earthwork principles and techniques
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Able to work on varying jobsite from different locations on and around Vancouver Island
