Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Class 1 Driver/Operator to join our team. Minimum of 3 years driving experience required. You will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including freight trucks and specialized equipment, to transport goods efficiently across various locations.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to plan efficient routes and delivery schedules




- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during loading and unloading activities

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling
- Certification or experience in forklift operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for routine maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and teamwork
- Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times
