Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class 3 Driver with air brake certification to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently across various locations. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair knowledge, and adherence to safety standards will ensure smooth delivery processes and uphold our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 3 commercial vehicles equipped with air brakes to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking air brake systems and other critical components.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.




- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Skills

- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement; clean driving record required.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts preferred but not mandatory; certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safe load securement techniques.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on commercial vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance in transportation operations.

Living out allowance provided

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 84.0 per week
