Ontex Cleaning Services is seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our cleaning team on a casual, as-needed basis.

We provide professional cleaning services across Winnipeg, servicing a variety of residential and commercial properties, including apartment buildings, condominiums, offices, shared facilities, and other commercial spaces.

As a member of our team, you will be assigned to different properties depending on client needs and scheduled cleaning services. Working hours, locations, and responsibilities may vary between assignments.

We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work, can work independently or as part of a team, and are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning services.

Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties at assigned residential and commercial properties.
- Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, washrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces according to cleaning requirements.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, switches, and shared fixtures.
- Follow property-specific cleaning checklists and instructions.
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
- Complete assigned duties efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with clients, residents, and building staff.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous residential, commercial,



or janitorial cleaning experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleaning standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to perform standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning duties.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures is an asset.
- Reliable transportation or the ability to travel to different locations throughout Winnipeg.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Work Schedule & Compensation This is a casual, on-call position, with shifts assigned according to client contracts and operational needs.
- Hours may vary from week to week.
- Assignments may take place at different properties throughout Winnipeg.
- Some cleaning assignments may be recurring, while others may be occasional or one-time services.
- Weekly hours are not guaranteed.
- Hourly pay ranges from $16.40 to $22.00, depending on experience and responsibilities.
