ONE Fertility Hamilton and Niagara is a fertility clinic devoted to providing fertility care and counselling. In Clinic Aide/Medical Device Reprocessor role, you will support the clinic’s overall goal of achieving excellent patient care by supporting the facility operations, administration, lab and clinical teams.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Reprocessing management of all medical and laboratory equipment, including collecting, decontaminating, sterilizing and repackaging of devices
- Ordering and restocking of single use medical supplies throughout the clinic
- Cleaning examination rooms, procedure rooms and ensuring overall cleanliness of the clinic
- Performing laundry duties, including washing and folding linens and uniforms
- Set up medical laboratory equipment and conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analysis
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary colleagues and patient/families
- Act as an effective team member by sharing opinions,



discussing issues and finding solutions as a team
- Report any critical incidents in a timely fashion to the Supervisor and participate in continuous quality assessment and risk management on an ongoing basis
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of Grade 12 diploma is essential
- Recent relevant experience with a preferred 1-2 years technical/reprocessing experience
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
- Familiarity with EMR and associated applications preferred
- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet workload demands

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
