Insolvency Specialist - Late Stage Collections

Mississauga, ON (Hybrid - 1 day/month onsite)

Up to $25/hr on T4 and $30 per hour on INC.

6-Month Contract | Extension & Conversion Potential | ASAP Start

We are seeking an Insolvency Specialist with experience handling bankruptcies, consumer proposals, and collections within Canadian financial institutions . This role involves reviewing insolvency files, analyzing financial statements, preparing Proofs of Claim, applying the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, and maximizing recovery opportunities on delinquent and written-off accounts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of direct insolvency experience
- 1-2+ years of bankruptcy/insolvency administration experience within a Canadian financial institution




- 1-2+ years of collections experience on Canadian banking products (credit cards, lines of credit, overdrafts, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Canadian Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, Statements of Affairs, and Proofs of Claim
- Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

- Trustee/vendor platform experience
- French/English bilingualism
- Analyst or investigative background

Hours: 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm (overtime availability required) Interview Process: 2-3 virtual rounds with hiring manager and team
