As a Construction Helper, you'll assist skilled tradespeople in completing building, renovation, and restoration projects efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople with their tasks
- Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to aid project execution
- Mix concrete, prepare materials for drywall installation, or assist with flooring and tile laying as needed
- Support with demolition, concrete finishing, masonry work, or restoration tasks to meet project specifications
- Help with the installation of cabinets, drywall, flooring, tiles,



or electrical components to ensure quality standards are met

Skills

- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for construction projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Knowledge of construction processes such as concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, drywall installation, and painting
- Familiarity with construction estimating procedures and material handling
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working on-site
- Solid teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills like caulking, plumbing basics, welding, or electrical work as needed
