Passionate Residential Estimator

- Do you have years of experience in residential construction? We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual who can develop construction estimates for future projects. With a growing brand in the Newmarket and surrounding region, we are looking for someone to join our team and help deliver estimates in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities

- Prepare residential renovation and home addition estimates by calculating complete takeoff and scope of work.

Jobs include: additions, main floors, basements, kitchens, bathrooms, decks.

- Coordinate and review suppliers, contractors and subcontractors for pricing.

- Review drawings that come in and prepare material take offs, scope of work, and detailed estimate based upon drawings.

- Build clear scope of work and schedule from the estimate to be executed by crews.

Qualifications





- Must have 5+ years of residential construction experience and estimating knowledge.

- Strong communication/ organization skills to speak with prospect client's and trades.

- Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and tender plans for various types of projects.

- Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material and labour estimates.

- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision

- Strong financial background and financial understanding

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
