Better Life Counselling & Therapy is a growing group practice with offices in Victoria and Coquitlam. We're a supportive team of clinicians who care about doing positive work and not falling through the cracks, for our clients or for each other.

The Opportunity

Couples are reaching out to us every week, and we're looking for a couples counsellor to join our Victoria team and help meet that demand. You'll be contracted to see Better Life's clients, with the referrals, the office, and the admin support already in place so you can focus on the counselling.

What You'll Do

- Provide counselling to couples and partners facing communication struggles, conflict, betrayal, life transitions, and relationship change
- See clients individually as well, if that suits your training and interests
- Manage your own schedule and caseload within our booking system
- Keep clear, timely clinical records in line with your regulatory body's standards

What We're Looking For

- Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing, or equivalent registration with a BC regulatory body (RSW, Registered Psychologist, etc.)
- Master's degree in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Training or experience in couples therapy (Gottman, EFT, or similar is an asset)
- Your own professional liability insurance
- A warm, steady presence and a genuine interest in helping couples through hard seasons
- Comfort working as an independent contractor, including managing your own invoicing and taxes

Compensation Independent contractor fee split. Details shared at interview.
