Duties

- Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods, including sandwiches, salads, and hot items, following established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, and credit card processing.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about products, and offering suggestions or upselling items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with catering orders by preparing platters, packaging items securely, and coordinating pickup or delivery details.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Experience with food preparation techniques and food handling safety protocols.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to assisting guests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper kitchen practices to ensure safe food handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize duties during peak hours; experience in serving or catering is advantageous.
