Senior Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Westside is a multidisciplinary clinic led by a dentist and a family physician, with dental, sleep, aesthetic and wellness care under one roof. Our dental side, led by Dr. Zubaida Hussain, is known for laser dentistry, TMJ care, sleep appliances and laser frenectomy for children and adults. We're looking for an experienced RDA to be Dr. Z's chairside partner and to keep the dental side's clinical standards with her.

This role is for you if you've assisted long enough that you don't need to be told what comes next. You notice what's low, what's due and what isn't right, and you deal with it. We'll trust you with the room, the sterilization area and the supplies, and you'll have Dr. Z's full support.

What you'll do

- Assist Dr. Z chairside: laser and restorative dentistry, TMJ assessments, sleep appliance records and deliveries, laser frenectomies and children's visits
- Own sterilization and instrument reprocessing to CDSA infection-control standards.
- Keep the dental rooms set up and stocked, track inventory and prepare the monthly order for Dr. Z's approval
- Log weekly and monthly equipment maintenance, and book service when something breaks




- Work in Curve Dental every day: charting support, notes, imaging, and booking each patient's next visit
- Call patients the day after a big visit. At Westside, how a patient feels the next day matters.

What you bring
- Registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA)
- At least 4–5 years of chairside experience
- Hands-on Curve Dental experience
- Current, confident knowledge of sterilization and infection-control standards. You could teach them.
- Reliable, honest and organized, and comfortable working on your own
- Asset: orthodontic assisting experience

Schedule and pay
- Full-time, permanent
- Tuesday: evening shift · Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: morning shifts · two Saturdays a month
- Wage starting at $35 based on experience
- Start: November 2026
