Dental Hygienist Treatment Facilitator – Work Alongside a Periodontist in a Unique Role

Location: Abbotsford, BC (1-2 days per week)

About the Role

This is not your typical dental hygiene position. We are looking for a skilled and motivated dental hygienist to work closely with a periodontist in an advanced clinical role. Instead of traditional scaling, you will play a key role in consultations, treatment planning, case documentation, and administering local anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct initial patient consultations, including medical history review and periodontal assessments.
- Educate patients on periodontal disease, mucogingival defects, treatment options, implant therapy, and post-operative care.
- Assist in treatment planning and maintain detailed case documentation.




- Administer local anesthesia and provide clinical support for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the periodontist to optimize patient care.

Position Details

- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
