Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food handling standards are met
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with light food preparation tasks when needed




- Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately
- Uphold a positive attitude while working quickly in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, or food service experience is advantageous
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in food environments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
