Shift Availability

Please Note: We are currently hiring for Afternoon (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM) and Midnight (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM) shifts only. Candidates must be available to work the assigned shift.

Responsibilities:

- Perform pre-shift inspection and record results.
- Perform proper machine cleaning procedures at end of shift.
- Review orders and drawings to determine requirements.
- Determine proper door skins.
- Lay-out and weld ‘stiffners’ on ‘top and bottoms’ as required.
- Insulate between ‘stiffners’.
- Assemble and weld doors.
- Cut out Thermal Kits, Glazing Track, Glass Stop.
- Produce order quantity as required.
- Inspect all finished doors for flatness and surface quality.
- Skid and label all products produced.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.




- Check and spot weld locks, hinges, and end channels
- Apply required insulation.
- Cut end channels when required and check for skin alignment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

- Experience with MIG welding is an asset.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to accurately read measuring instruments, such as a measuring tape in imperial units.
- Knowledge and ability to set up machinery as required.
- Ability to read production orders and drawings.

Nice to have:

- Willing to train within the trade.
- Metal Fabrication industry experience is an asset.
