Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Driver Trainer and Safety Specialist to lead our driver training initiatives and promote a culture of safety across our transportation operations. In this role, you will develop comprehensive training programs, deliver engaging instruction, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will help foster a safe, efficient, and compliant driving workplace, empowering drivers to perform at their best while minimizing risks.

Duties

- Testing the driver applicants and ensuring the prospect is capable of fulfilling their requirements within the Owner Operator/Driver contracts.
- Conduct orientations, road tests, and driver assessments.
- Deliver safety and compliance training.
- Monitor and coach driver performance.
- Maintain driver records and reports.
- Support accident investigations and corrective actions.
- Partner with operations to meet staffing needs.
- Promote safe driving and winter readiness.

Requirements

- Class 1 Driver - AZ Licenses




- Proven experience in teaching or instructional design within a transportation or human resources environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and public speaking engagements.
- Familiarity with data collection methods, research techniques, and analysis to inform training strategies.
- Experience with classroom teaching or driver training preferred; prior experience in salesforce or SharePoint is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in program management tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships across teams and departments.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
