We are looking for a caring and reliable Educational Assistant (EA) / Child Support Worker/ ABA therapist to provide 1:1 support to a young child in a school setting.
This is a privately funded position paid directly by the parents.
Preferred experience
- Educational Assistant / Special Education
- Montessori
- ABA or behavioural support
- Working 1:1 with young children
- Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, communication, or learning needs
The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, energetic, and comfortable working closely with parents and school staff.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 support during classroom activities and transitions
- Helping the child stay engaged, focused, and comfortable in the school setting
- Supporting communication, social interaction, independence, and daily routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in classroom activities
