Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation in all activities
- Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning
- Care for children’s basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and comforting to ensure their well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's individual growth and development goals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment to ensure safety and readiness for daily activities
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing care and support to young children
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong classroom experience with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged
