Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
- Engage children in activities that promote creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while supporting individual needs.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Support children with diverse needs by adapting activities and providing caregiving assistance as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.




- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Looking for educators with experience working in an Early Learning Centre or caregiving settings, preferably holding an ECE diploma or certificate.
- Must have knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles, development milestones, and the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework.
- Should demonstrate compassionate caregiving and support for young children, along with classroom experience with diverse groups, including children with disabilities and all ages from infants to school age.
- Strong teaching skills to actively engage children in learning, and excellent communication abilities for collaboration with families and team members are essential.
- Relevant certifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are preferred but not required.
- Criminal Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, Social Development Check, as well as First Aid and CPR, are necessary.

Pay: $15.90-$27.79 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
